Dear friends,
I decided to take a step back from my usual format this week as I do my Daniel fast. Instead, I would like to call your attention to one verse in particular in Chapter 2 of Joel. Give us understanding Father, as we read your precious word, so elegant, so poetic, so perfect in every way. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
….Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.
Joel 2:16
The word gather appears twice in this verse and there are two gatherings connected with the day of the LORD. The rapture of the church is a ‘gathering’. (2 Thess 2:1 et al) Then there is the gathering or aliyah (lit ascending) when Jews from all around the world will return to Israel. (Ez 37 et al) I believe that is what the first part of the verse pertains to. Or more specifically, their gathering in the rebuilt temple. Joel 1:14 clearly states that the elders and the people, or the inhabitants of the land, are to be assembled in the temple. The second part of the verse, however, refers to a different gathering. Joel specifies the children and the babies — those who have not yet reached the age of accountability. Many believe they will be included in the rapture, ie gathered. Finally, the bride and the groom (both singular) are brought together. This speaks of the marraige supper of the Lamb, the marriage of the King of Kings and the bride of Christ. (Rev 19:7-9) This exclusive event is going to be the hottest ticket of the millennium. It will be held in the city of New Jerusalem at a secret location which will be revealed at the time of the event. The Lord Jesus Christ has spent nearly two thousand years planning and constructing the Celestial City and the marriage supper of the Lamb will be its debut event. Paul and all of the other apostles will be there, along with Michael, Gabriel, and a myriad of the most recognized A-list names in heaven. Although not many noble were called, it’s been rumored that Queen Victoria will be attending. The price of admission, the precious blood of Christ, has been paid in full by the Crown, with an extended invitation issued to all who wish to come (Luke 14:21-23), but by reservation only. Reservations are still available, but only for a limited time. (Rom 11:25) The date will remain undisclosed until the time of the event, so don’t delay. To add your name to the waiting list, receive Christ as your personal Saviour and a wedding garment will be reserved under your name. If you don’t have a wedding garment reserved, you will not be getting in. This policy will be strictly enforced with no exceptions. (Matt 22:11-14)
….And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

Father, thank You for the blessed hope. Thank You for our love letter and all the wisdom it contains. You are in heaven and your name is hallowed. It is our desire to be with You and your Son. May your kingdom come and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, now and forever. Amen.
Coronavirus Update: As the rollouts of the coronavirus vaccines approach, here is something to consider: In a rare and stunning admission, the WHO recently posted a statement on their website confirming that the recent polio outbreak across East Africa was caused by the Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV). This was first reported by the Associated Press before being picked up by Zerohedge. Amazingly, if you read all the way to the bottom of their statement, the course of action recommended by the WHO is more OPV. The OPV is a completely different animal than the COVID vaccines, but the case history is still worth considering none the less. (Why are they admitting this now?) The mRNA vaccines being developed for COVID work by reprogramming the celular chemistry of the human body. The systems that God has created within our cells are so complex that for anyone to suppose they can reengineer improvements is the height of arrogance and hubris. It’s kind of like letting a four-year-old tinker with the computer code that keeps a patient’s life-support system functioning. What could go wrong, right? Well, a lot. A participant in the Moderna vaccine trials recently went public with his adverse reaction to the shot. He developed a fever of 103 degrees F and had to receive treatment in an urgent care facility. According to the University of Cambridge, “better understanding of [mRNA] vaccine adverse effects is needed – these can include inflammation or autoimmune reactions.” AstraZeneca was forced to suspend the clinical trials for their COVID vaccine when one of their test subjects developed a rare spinal disorder known as transverse myelitis. The AstraZeneca vaccine is not a mRNA vaccine, indicating traditional COVID vaccines are not to be trusted either. Considering these adverse reactions, I think it behooves us to work on improving our immune systems using time-tested techniques like vitamins and minerals, exercise, and a good night’s rest, instead of trusting a vaccine to save us
Correction 5/26/21: The AstraZeneca jab is not a traditional vaccine. It is essentialy a form of gene therapy like the other COVID so-called vaccines.
