This week we will take one last look at a few specific verses in John 5. John’s Gospel highlights Jesus’ deity. Although they did not receive Him when He came in his Father’s name, Jesus said they will receive another who will come in his own name — as will the rest of the world.
Father, give us understanding as we read your precious word, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
……For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
……That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
John 5:22, 23
Jesus is one and the same with the Father. (John 10:30) Not that they are both the same person, but they are one and the same יהוה (LORD), always in agreement with one another, always united, never opposed to one another or out of sync in any way. One Godhead: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
In previous studies, I have written how Israel is a microcosm of the world. This could be seen in the judgment on Jerusalem for their idolatry and their subsequent Babylonian captivity. This was a microcosm of the judgment that will fall upon the world when MYSTERY BABYLON takes control. (Rev 17) I believe we are watching the rapid acceleration of this process, with Israel leading the way. Israel now leads the world in COVID hysteria with respect to lockdowns, ‘vaccines’, vaccine passports. Those who refuse to comply have been disenfranchised. This is what happens to a nation that rejects the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, this is what is in store for the rest of the world as well. Countries all over the world are locking down their borders again. It is all leading to one inevitable conclusion. Although the nation of Israel did not receive Jesus, Jesus said they would indeed receive the Antichrist (as will the world):
……I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
Something the pope said a few years ago may be an indicator of how close this verse is to being fulfilled. Addressing the General Assembly of the United Nations, the pope began his speech by saying, “I am come in my own name…” More recently, the pope has called for the establishment of a “New World Order.”
Last November, I posited that it is 1938 in Germany, and we are all Jews. I don’t know that there will be concentration camps anytime soon, but I do know that we are being experimented on, something the Nazis were very fond of doing. The COVID ‘vaccines’ have not gone through the regular FDA approval process. Rather, they have been given ‘emergency approval’. That makes us the guinea pigs. As can be seen in the tweet below, according to data available from the HHS Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, VAERS, there are already more than two thousand people who have died from the COVID ‘vaccine’ in the US. Twice that many are reported to have died in Europe.
Personally, I believe many deaths go unreported and the real numbers are much higher. Yet the new ‘yellow star’ is the lack of a ‘vaccination’. I have been following the rise of the new world order for around 25 years now, and I have noticed a pattern. There is an ebb and flow to it. There is a time of heightened tensions where people are fearful of a complete collapse of civil liberties and an end to presidential elections. This is followed by a time of easing where things seem to ‘go back to normal’. Each time the tensions return they come back stronger than the last time. We are now in a cycle of heightened tensions and government control, all by design. In Coronavirus Part 6, I wrote about how the Rockefeller Foundation wrote down the plans for the pandemic in 2010, but their report is not the only place that the blueprint can be found. The script can also be found in the 2017 Johns Hopkins SPARS Report, and the 2019 HHS document Crimson Contagion. No one knows, of course, if this will be the last cycle before the full-blown New World Order take over in the tribulation period, but Jesus told us to be vigilant and watch.
Consider the following:
• Students at a high school in Florida were warned they will be ‘reeducated’ if caught not wearing a mask.
• YouTube recently deleted 25 million dislikes on Biden White House videos.
• Parents who disagree with Critical Race Theory are being placed on an ‘enemies list’.*
• A world-renown infectious disease expert from Harvard was censored on Twitter for his opinion, while junk science about gender identity and COVID is freely published without issue.
• A member of Congress had her Twitter account locked for tweeting ‘He is risen!”
Yet there are still those who boldly stand for truth:
• A pastor in Canada kicked police out of his church for trying to disrupt his service, calling them “Nazis” and “Gestapo.”
Even if there is respite concerning our Lord’s imminent return, these encroachments on our freedoms, including our freedom to worship and our freedom to share the gospel, cannot be ignored. I leave you this week with the words of a great American who stood against injustice, Dr Martin Luther King, Jr:
Honesty impels me to admit that transformed nonconformity, which is always costly and never altogether comfortable, may mean walking through the valley of the shadow of suffering, losing a job, or having a six-year-old daughter ask, “Daddy, why do you have to go to jail so much?” But we are gravely mistaken to think that Christianity protects us from the pain and agony of mortal existence. Christianity has always insisted that the cross we bear precedes the crown we wear. To be a Christian, one must take up his cross, with all of its difficulties and agonizing and tragedy-packed content, and carry it until that very cross leaves its marks upon us and redeems us to that more excellent way that comes only through suffering.
In these days of worldwide confusion, there is a dire need for men and women who will courageously do battle for truth. We must make a choice. Will we continue to march to the drumbeat of conformity and respectability, or will we, listening to the beat of a more distant drum, move to its echoing sounds? Will we march only to the music of time, or will we, risking criticism and abuse, march to the soul saving music of eternity?
In closing, the hour before us presents great challenges that may try every fiber of our beings as Christians. For more fodder on our moral obligations as Christians and our responsibility concerning the new laws we are facing, I highly recommend you also study this letter, also by Dr Martin Luther King, Jr:
Father, should persecution come in our day, give us the courage of David and the strength of Samson. Guide us through the ministry of your Holy Spirit. Give us the faith of Abraham. Give us the wisdom of Solomon. Give us the patience of Job. We love You and we trust You Father, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
* Furthermore, Target is now offering a book called ‘A Rhythm of Prayer’, edited by Sarah Bessy, that encourages praying to hate white people. Below are excerpts from one of the prayers, “Prayer of a Weary Black Woman,” by Dr. Chanequa Walker-Barnes, a theology professor at Mercer University. Screenshots can be seen here.
“Dear God, Please help me to hate White people…” [Not just the blatantly racist ones mind you, but the] “nice ones…” [the] “Trump-supporting voters…”
“Let me see them as hopelessly unrepentant, reprobate bigots who have blasphemed the Holy Spirit and who need to be handed over to the evil one…”
“Grant me a Get Out of Judgment Free Card if I make white people the exception to your commandment to love our neighbors as we love ourselves…”
