John 16:13, 14 — Hearing God – The Upper Room Discourse Part 11

…..Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
…..He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
John 16:13, 14

Dear Friends,

Before we move on to Jesus’ high priestly prayer in Chapter 17, let’s take a closer look at the two verses above from Chapter 16. Jesus promises us that through the ministry of the Holy Spirit, He will speak to us, and show us things to come. Any good relationship requires communication. Our relationship with Jesus is no different. Not only do we need to speak to Him; we also need to listen to what He says to us. First and foremost, hearing God’s voice is about knowing his word. One of the most important requirements for understanding the Bible is meekness:

…..The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
Psalm 25:9

To be meek means to be humble and teachable. With this in mind, consider the following points. Understanding God’s word is accomplished by:

1. Looking to God, not the world for wisdom. (Jam 1:5; John 6:45a)
2. Setting your heart on heaven, not the world. (Ps 84:10; Matt 6:33)
3. Praying about everything (and fasting). (Matt 6:17; Phil 4:6; Jam 1:5)
4. Being obedient. (Ps 107:43; Ps 119:100; Ps 111:10)
5. Studying. (2 Tim 2:15)
6. Having faith in the Bible. (Hab 2:4b; Heb 11:3a; 11:6a)
7. Meditating on the word, not on the things of the world. (Ps 1:2; Ps 119:99; Phil 4:8)

Always keep in mind that the Bible is a spiritual Book and needs to be approached spiritually (I Cor. 2:14). Despite any training you may have in the original languages, or whatever study helps you may like to use, remember that it is the Holy Spirit who gives us understanding. Always remember to pray before you read the Bible. For an expanded study on these seven points click here.

The more one seeks God’s face through knowing his word, the more God will speak to her or him. One of the more difficult skills to develop as a Christian is recognizing God’s voice when you hear it. A thought will being to form in your mind; when the thought is something healthy and positive, it is possibly from God. If it is violent or condemning, it is probably from the enemy. In those cases you should say out loud, “This is not my thought and I reject it. I rebuke you in Jesus’ name.” However, when the thought is peaceful and positive, consider that God may be speaking to you. The more you act on these thoughts the easier it will become to recognize God’s voice when you hear it. For example, I recall one occasion when I was tired of my ingrown toenail. I decided to go to the prayer room at church and get prayed over. After I received prayer for healing, later that day I felt like God was telling me not to take my sock off for a few days. Unfortunately, I did not listen. I let my curiosity get the best of me. Before long I took my sock off to see if God healed my toe. Nope. It still looked the same. However, later that week after church, my friend and I were talking to a couple of girls we had just met. One of them said she once got prayed over for her ingrown toenail to be healed. Then she felt like God was telling her not to take her sock off for a few days. Unlike me, she had the faith to believe God was speaking to her and she obeyed. A few days later she took her sock off and her toenail was back to normal, completely healed. I did not mention anything about my situation. In fact, this was a different church, around 80 miles away from the church where I was prayed for. She just ‘coincidentally’ shared her story the same week that the same thing happened to me. I had seen other people healed through prayer but because I did not listen, I would have to wait until much later before my toenail problem was gone.

The point is that throughout the Bible God speaks to his people. He spoke to his high priests through the Urim and the Thummim. He spoke to his people through the prophets. He spoke through the casting of lots. He spoke through angels. He spoke through dreams. He spoke to Moses face to face as a man speaks to his friend. Yet God [h]ath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son. (Heb 1:2) Jesus still speaks to those who receive Him by faith, the same way He spoke to his servants in the Bible. When Elijah sought to hear God’s voice, God was not in the wind or the earthquake, nor was He in the fire. (1 Kings 19) God came to Elijah in a still small voice. Jesus still speaks to his people in this way.

Following our verses above, not only does the Holy Spirit speak to us, but He also shows us things to come. I believe if we focus too much on current events we can get distracted from hearing God’s voice. I have noticed that when I listen to a podcast that covers the news my thoughts become anxious and discontented. When I listen to the Bible my thoughts stay peaceful and contented. However, we are also commanded to watch. Therefore, monitoring current events that pertain to Bible prophecy is needed to a certain extent, but it needs to be balanced with meditation on the word of God. The following is what I believe the Holy Spirit has been showing me about things to come:

1. We are seeing the same sorts of perversions that caused God to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. For example, the Episcopal Church has endorsed sex changes for children of all ages. This is significant because Jesus likened the days before his second coming to the days before the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. He said, Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. (Luke 17:30)

2. We are looking at the biggest financial bubble in the history of the world. The US Debt has increased by some $10 trillion in the last few years. It is now well over $30 trillion, but how much is a trillion? This illustration from Zerohedge will help us understand:

If you earned $1 per second, it would take 11 days to make a million dollars.
If you earned $1 per second, it would take 31 and a half years to make a billion dollars.
If you earned $1 per second, it would take 31,688 years to make a trillion dollars.

This is significant because the Bible predicts a financial collapse following the rapture. (Rev 6:6)

3. It is clear that a major shift in the use of currency is about to take place. In March, Biden signed Executive Order 14067. Section 4 of this order stipulates that by early September, several government agencies will have to submit their plans for a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC). By early October they intend to begin the legislative process to implement a CBDC. Much of the rest of the world is likewise pursuing this agenda. Virtually nobody in government is opposing CBDCs. This is significant because it is leading to the mark of the beast spoken of in Revelation 13:16-18. (Incidentally, when even Saudi Arabia is considering joining the BRICS nations, you know the US Dollar’s days are numbered.)

4. I believe that the CBDC referred to above is the reason for the 87,000 additional IRS employees, some of them armed, that will be phased in over the next 10 years, as the IRS budget is increased by $80 billion. (This increase is more than 6 times the current $13 billion budget of the IRS.) The budget increase is part of the $3.5 trillion Inflation Reduction Act which Bill Gates had a hand in. Meanwhile, existing IRS agents have been training to raid suburban homes according to their own internal report. The Inflation Reduction Act will have other far-reaching implications moving things toward the Great Reset, on schedule to be completed by 2030. Prophecy teacher Jan Markell has said that the Great Reset is the great tribulation period, and I believe she might be right.

5. The escalation toward WW III continues. US military assistance for Ukraine is now up to nearly $7 billion. The recent assassination of Darya Dugina, daughter of Aleksandr Dugin (aka Putin’s Brain), only accelerates things as the bomb was meant for Ms Dugina’s father. He switched cars at the last minute. Incidentally, in an interview from nearly five years ago, Aleksandr Dugin spoke of the need to oppose globalism and their agenda to erase the differences between boys and girls while bringing in transhumanism. Whatever one makes of this person he clearly had some foresight into where things were going. He has also been very influential in terms of Russian policy. Meanwhile, China is openly preparing for war. By any realistic assessment, WW III has already begun and it is only a matter of time before it goes hot. This is significant because this is exactly what the Bible predicts in Revelation 6:4.

6. The deaths from the shots continue. Facebook has blocked #Diedsuddenly, even as normal, healthy, people continue to, well, die suddenly. For example, seven young, healthy doctors in Canada recently all died within a two-week period. This is exactly what I said would happen in my post, 2021 in Review 2022 in Preview. As the deaths continue to pile up, Anthony Fauci is hoping to quietly go away by retiring in December. Meanwhile, die-hard Trump supporters are slowly starting to acknowledge that he is the one mainly responsible. This is significant because if people cannot see what Trump did to us in 2020 they are under mind control, the same as any other cult member; also because if these deaths continue they will account for the plagues the Bible predicts in Revelation 6:8 and other places. In any case, I believe there is a clear connection between the shots and the pharmakeia used to deceive the world in Revelation 9:21 and 18:23.

7. The rise of the police state continues. Illegal raids on US citizens have been going on for a long time. The Free Thought Project has been reporting on this for years and I wrote about it in Dragon Slayer Jesus Christ. Now that it is happening to political figures, people are starting to notice. Not only was Trump’s primary residence raided by the FBI, but Congressman Scott Perry (R-PA) recently had his phone seized by the Feds as well. This is significant because it shows how our republic has been eroded, opening the door for the New World Order that Scripture says will assume power in the great tribulation period. (Dan 7:7 et al) In other countries like China, the medical tyranny has reached preposterous proportions, like testing fish for COVID. This ‘junk science’ is reminiscent of the Third Reich, which serves as a model for the New World Order of the great tribulation period.

In closing, I believe these things indicate that our Lord’s return is at hand. Although Jesus told us that no man knows the day or the hour, I believe the Holy Spirit is telling us to draw close to Him and prepare for our blessed hope. I intend to live my life and plan for retirement as best as possible considering the points above, but I am also preparing myself spiritually as if Jesus is coming tomorrow. He just might be. On the other hand, although Satan likes 2030, that does not necessarily mean our Father is following the same timeline. The cornerstone of Bible prophecy is Matthew 24:36: But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. Nevertheless, I’m going to watch and wait like Jesus told us to. (Matt 25; Luke 21:36; Rev 16:15) Finally, if you find these news items distressing, read the Psalms. If you are in Christ, you do not need to worry about what the new world order kingpins are up to. The Bible says that in the end they will attempt to hide themselves in the mountains and rocks saying, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb. Be mindful that Jesus is praying for us. We will look at his final prayer for us before going to the cross in our next post. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. (Heb 7:25)

Father, thank You for your Son and his unchangeable priesthood. Thank You that He is praying for us even as I write this. Thank You that we have a blessed hope, and that we will soon be caught up to meet your Son in the air. Please direct our paths in the meantime, so that we may work while it is day and be found waiting and watching for You. We pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

John 16:15-33 — That Your Joy May Be Full – The Upper Room Discourse Part 10

Dear Friends,

As we continue in Chapter 16, Jesus is elaborating on the role of the Holy Spirit. In verse 13 Jesus said Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. In this post, we are going to attempt to let the Holy Spirit show us the truth about where we are and where things are headed. In verse 14, Jesus said He [the Holy Spirit] shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. Just as Jesus points people to his Father, the Holy Spirit points people to Jesus. (Not vice versa as is the case in some churches.)

Give us understanding, Father, as we read thy word, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

John 16:15-33
15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

Jesus is telling us that the Trinity is in one accord. All three Persons in the Godhead are in perfect agreement with one another, at all times. Therefore, the Father will receive us as his own because we belong to Jesus. Furthermore, Jesus has equal ownership of all the Father has. Because we belong to Jesus, the Father will share all He has with us as well. Jesus is speaking about the true riches here, not the fool’s gold the world offers. The Holy Spirit directs our path and shows us the wisdom of God. He also teaches us sound doctrine. (1 John 2:27) This is what Paul meant when he wrote Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. The two verses below show how to walk in the Spirit, that we may find and obtain the true riches. The first step, however, is to simply ask for the Spirit. (Luke 11:13)

…..Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Colossians 3:16

…..And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
…..Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
Ephesians 5:18, 19

These verses show not only how the word of God and the Spirit of God are closely linked (John 6:63; cf Eph 6:17), but also how the Holy Spirit dwells within our praise. Singing praise to God brings the presence of the Holy Spirit. (Ps 22:3)

16 A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.
17 Then said some of his disciples among themselves, What is this that he saith unto us, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father?
18 They said therefore, What is this that he saith, A little while? we cannot tell what he saith.
19 Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me?
20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.
21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.

Just as a woman who has pain in labor has joy once the child is delivered, the pain of the cross brought joy when Jesus rose from the dead. Just as the same baby that caused the pain brought joy, the same cross that caused sorrow brings the joy of salvation. It has been said that this shows how God uses transformation, not substitution, to bring joy. Jesus also used birth pangs to describe the shock waves of our day (Matt 24:8). The world is in travail, preparing to give birth to the kingdom age and the unveiling of our King. This birthing process will bring joy when Jesus comes back again. In fact, He is already here in the person of the Holy Spirit. He lives in our hearts by faith. If we can only believe, this truth brings joy and elevates us above our circumstances as we prepare for eternity.

22 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.
23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.

This is the fifth time Jesus has said this and it’s true. Just because someone does not understand something does not make it any less true. The way I see it, just as a wife has the authority to cash a check written to her husband, we have the authority to ask whatsoever we will when we ask in Jesus’ name. But we also have to be acting and asking in accordance with the character of Christ. Jesus made this promise to his closest disciples. If we have the same level of commitment that they did, if we are walking closely in fellowship with Christ as they did, we can claim this promise just as they could. Peter could say silver and gold have I none. When the apostles were beaten, they rejoiced that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name. Paul said I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ. I don’t know of anyone who has that kind of faith today. Someone may object and say God did not grant Paul’s request to have his thorn removed, but consider again that our prayers must be in accordance with the character of Christ. When Jesus asked his Father to remove the cup of the cross, He added, if it be possible and nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. God cannot do ‘anything‘. He cannot make a one-ended stick, for example. Neither could He save us without the perfect sacrifice of Christ. Therefore we pray, ‘… if it be thy will’. When a wife cashes a check written to her husband, she has to act in accordance with his character. If she pushes her way to the front of the line and starts making unreasonable demands on the teller, she will be shown the door instead of receiving service. When we pray like Jesus taught us to, He and his Father are pleased to grant our requests.

24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Not only is there power in prayer, but joy as well. Prayer brings joy when you see lives changed in accordance with your prayers. God will even answer the most obscure prayers when you pray in faith. When I was a small child, shortly after receiving Christ — I suppose I was around 4 or 5 years old — I felt an evil presence in my Uncle’s basement. I prayed to find what was evil and I found myself in front of a closet filled with board games. I did not know what was in there that was evil so I just prayed that whatever it was, God would destroy it and break it into a thousand pieces. Many years later I learned that my uncle had an ouija board. It was left on the back porch and hit by lightning during a storm. They found it strewn all over the backyard in thousands of tiny pieces. That brought me joy.

One of my favorite passages of Scripture is Jeremiah 12:5a: If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? I once prayed and asked God to let me run with horses, literally. I wondered if and when and how God would ever answer that prayer. Then in 2020 after I moved to a ranch in Virginia, I took Khaiyanne, a beautiful white Arabian, by his lead rope and said, ‘Come on Khai, let’s go for a run’. When Coach and Gabriel, a chocolate-colored thoroughbred with a white star on his forehead and a chocolate-colored Dutch warmblood, saw me and Khai running together, they joined us. I thought back to my prayer as we ran four abreast — three big horses and me. That brought me joy.

25 These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.
26 At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:
27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.

Again, in order to use Jesus’ name we have to be asking and acting in accordance with his character. To ask amiss, that we may consume it on our lusts while using his name would be taking his name in vain, which is a sin.

When is that day? It’s the day when Jesus takes us to meet his Father; the day when He said I shall shew you plainly of the Father. But can we not also apply Jesus’ promise to today? In our current church age? I think so.

28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.
29 His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb.
30 Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.
31 Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?
32 Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. [Cf 1 John 4:4]
John 16:15-33

Verse 33 is the bottom line for everything Jesus said in his discourse and sets the stage for his prayer in John 17. Jesus is facing the cross but He is talking about joy and peace and good cheer. We are facing our own tribulations in these last days, but we can face our trials with joy and peace and good cheer because Jesus already won. As Christians, we don’t fight for victory. We fight from victory. Jesus has overcome the world.

I recently saw an old black and white movie which I found to be a fitting metaphor for the mind control of the new world order: Born Yesterday (1950). The main character, Billie, was a princess-not-so-bright chorus girl who was attached to a corrupt and abusive businessman named Harry. Billie was content to go along with Harry because she did not know any better, but when her new friend, Paul, started to teach her about the principles of freedom and justice, Billie saw that there was a much better alternative available. All she had to do was take it. Born Yesterday parallels how John Q Public (Billie), has been dumbed down and is therefore prepped for the traps and snares of the corporatocracy of the new world order (Harry). Paul is symbolic of Jesus. He shows us how empty it all is and how his love is worth far more than the shiny things the world offers. Like Billie, John Q has a host of modern conveniences. If he plays along with the new world order he has money and an easy living. (At least that is the bait they use for their traps.) But if John Q understood the true riches, like Paul was able to show Billie, If he would rediscover his birthright of freedom as Billie did, he would tell the new world order (Harry) to go fly a kite, as Billie did.

The dumbing-down process was necessary in order to get John Q to go along with the ridiculous claims that they base their narrative on. For example, they say ‘carbon’ — the basis of life on earth — is bad. CO2, of course, is what plants use to produce oxygen. They use this carbon scam for their fascist scheme to steal our energy. Then they claim that nitrogen — 78% of the air we breathe — is a pollutant. That is how they imploded Sri Lanka, with nitrogen restrictions and tax holidays for the rich, not to mention replacing reliable energy sources that have been proven to work. After they weakened the economy with lockdowns, their fertilizer (nitrogen) ban finished them off. This is also how they are conquering the farmers in the Netherlands, the bread basket of Europe. Canada is next in line. They will eventually get to the US as well but for now, they are just making fertilizer expensive instead of restricting it by law. They have been coming after the Amish and other farmers for a long time with other petty policies. In California, they are restricting water use by farmers. Like Lingchi, the Chinese torture of death by 1000 cuts, the new world order is attacking everything necessary for life on earth. These policies will ultimately lead to Revelation 6:6 when the rider on the black horse brings worldwide famine. For those who survive, the endgame is to coerce them into taking the mark of the beast. This process is also underway. Sri Lanka is the proverbial canary in the coal mine. Consider:

The new boss of Sri Lanka is the same as the old boss, loyal to the World Economic Forum (WEF). Sri Lanka is to begin rationing fuel based on a national digital ID which uses a QR code. That is where everything is moving, toward a worldwide digital ID. Ukraine is already implementing an “all-encompassing government app” for digital identification. These digital IDs are simply prototypes for the mark of the beast (Rev 13:16-18), which will be tied to the central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) that are being phased in. Russia and China have announced that they already have CBDCs. Several other countries are following suit. The following excerpt is from Where Did All the People GO? which I published in 2002; it cites Occult ABC, published by Kurt Koch in 1986. It describes the endgame of the new world order:

The system will be made up of a single currency, single centrally financed government, single tax system, single language, single political system, single world court of justice, single head [one individual leader], single state religion. He further states: each person will have a registered number, without which he will not be able to buy or sell, and there will be one universal world church. Anyone who refuses to take part in this universal system will have no right to exist. (1)

In my review of 2021, I said it is not clear how the whole world is made to go along with the agenda of the new world order. This interview with Klaus Schwab, head of the WEF sheds some more light on how it works:

That is how it’s done. The United Nations is the bureaucratic policy-making wing of the new world order, while the WEF recruits politicians from around the world to implement the policies on a national level. Their policies destroy the old system and create new monopolies for the elite billionaire class. The excuse they use is ‘climate change’ which according to a recent poll, only 1% of voters feel is the most important issue. It is, in fact, a scam. (For exaample, the heat wave of 1936, when we had far fewer carbon emissions, was far worse than our recent heat wave.) Competition is a sin and therefore ‘nonessential’.

Yet the billionaires who profit from this system are presented as our saviors. The Bible says Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats? Yes, that is exactly what they do. Not only do rich men oppress us, not only are they depopulating and enslaving us, but they are destroying the earth. (Rev 11:18) For example, aluminum and other toxic substances pollute the environment through geo-engineering. This is just one small example of the many different ways the rich ‘elite’ are destroying our planet. One of the many ways the depopulation process has already begun is via the so-called ‘vaccines’. According to Rebel News, orders for child-sized caskets doubled in 2021 when the shots were rolled out. This coincides with the data from life insurance companies that I cited in Cornavirus Part 13. Thankfully, public trust in the shots is starting to sour, but the new world order is not going to halt their agenda of planetary enslavement. They are moving forward. The good news is people the world over are fighting back.

• The Disinformation Governance Board that Biden attempted to launch has officially been killed.
• The WHO Pandemic Preparedness Treaty is stalled and in the process of being blocked by Congress.
• China’s vax mandate has failed.
• France has also failed to implement their vax passports
• A New York Judge has tossed the Quarantine Camp law.
• Georgia’s Heartbeat Law has been upheld.
• A Court has ruled in favor of Louisiana’s abortion ban.
43 abortion centers in 11 states have stopped killing babies since Roe v. Wade was overturned.
• A Canadian court has vindicated Pastor Artur Pawlowski.
• The Georgia Guide Stones have been destroyed.
• Some of the lesser magistrates in the US continue to defy unconstitutional laws.

We cannot change the inevitable outcome of Bible prophecy but we must never give in to evil. We recognize that we are at war and do our best to resist. Much like the US, Israel has been caught trying to hide data on childhood injuries from the shots. This is a new kind of war. We are at war with the ‘governments’ of the world, aka the new world order. Remember, our weapons are not carnal but mighty. Do not be fooled by the next billionaire they try to sell us. Remember that Trump gave us the kill shots. Trump told us we are not essential. Even Obama with all his superpowers could not have pushed Warp Speed through like Trump did. Remember our citizenship is in heaven.

In closing, in 1987, Pink Floyd released A Momentary Lapse of Reason. Consider the cover art and the lyrics to this track, On the Turning [read falling?] Away:

On The Turning Away – Pink Floyd

On the turning away
From the pale and downtrodden
And the words they say
Which we won’t understand
“Don’t accept that what’s happening
Is just a case of others’ suffering
Or you’ll find that you’re joining in
The turning away”

It’s a sin that somehow
Light is changing to shadow
And casting its shroud
Over all we have known
Unaware how the ranks have grown
Driven on by a heart of stone
We could find that we’re all alone
In the dream of the proud

On the wings of the night
As the daytime is stirring
Where the speechless unite
In a silent accord
Using words you will find are strange
Mesmerized as they light the flame
Feel the new wind of change
On the wings of the night

No more turning away
From the weak and the weary
No more turning away
From the coldness inside
Just a world that we all must share
It’s not enough just to stand and stare
Is it only a dream that there’ll be
No more turning away?

The art and the lyrics seem to me to be too prophetic to be coincidental. I believe the content creators were given advanced knowledge of the new world order’s plans and did what they did in protest.

Conclusion: In Christ we have peace. In the world we have tribulation. Solomon said it another way, under the sun everything is vanity. But in the Son there is peace. There are riches beyond our wildest dreams. Never forget that good is stronger than evil. (Rom 12:21) Never forget that this life is just a vapor. (Jam 4:14) Never forget that God loves you and Jesus is coming back soon. (John 3:16; 14:1-6) There is a tremendous amount of power available to us through Spirit-filled prayer. The coolest answer to prayer I ever experienced was when I once prayed for a little Zimbabwean waif who was covered with open sores. The next day, I wrote this in my journal:

Day 8 — Thursday, August 16, 2001
I took Trymore out for lunch after Bible study today and he told me he has decided to stop hustling tourists out of their money. He is going to start earning an honest living. Today outside of the OK Market I saw a little girl who obviously recognized me because when she saw me she gave me a big smile and pretended to play guitar. Then it hit me. Yes—it was her, the little girl from the park. I could see very light scars left behind from where the open sores were when I prayed for her yesterday. She was healed!

The good news of the gospel is that despite all my horrible failures, despite the way I have failed God on so many occasions not to mention all the ways I have failed those who I care about, God still shows me grace. He still hears my prayers — because I pray in Jesus’ name. We don’t know when the rapture is going to be but with all that is happening, we know it is coming. The new world order will come the same way Hemingway said he went bankrupt, “Gradually, then suddenly.” Meanwhile, if Jesus could talk about joy as he was facing the cross, we can follow his instructions to pray and find joy. We can have peace and be of good cheer because JESUS has overcome the world.

Father, thank You that the hysteria over the lies is abating. Thank You for the brave leaders You have given us. Thank You that Pastor Pawlowski has been vindicated by the courts. Please use Dr Simone Gold as mightily as you used Pastor Pawlowski as she begins her prison ministry. Please vindicate her as You did Pastor Pawlowski. Please bring worldwide revival. Please fight against those who fight against us. (Ps 35:1) Please frustrate their plans and increase our energy resources. Please increase our meat, fruit, and vegetable yields. Please show the public the truth about the shots. Thank You that the Holy Spirit is a free Spirit (Ps 51:12) Thank You that Jesus sets us free as does the Holy Spirit. Thank You that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

John 16:1-14 — I Tell You The Truth: The Upper Room Discourse Part 9

Dear Friends,

As we pick up in Chapter 16, Jesus continues with his final instructions to the disciples before his death and resurrection. The time of Jesus’ arrest is drawing near. Before we continue with the Upper Room Discourse, however, let us first consider just a few key points concerning our current situation.

• The US (and only the US) has authorized the mRNA shots for infants. Just as we have seen the appearance of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome since the shots were rolled out, will we now see an increase in Sudden Infant Death Syndrome? Data from the VAERS database is already showing seizures, brain damage, hallucinations, and other horrible side effects.
• The US has not been this divided since the Civil War. Recent Supreme Court decisions like the decision in the Dobbs case reversing Roe v Wade, and other decisions, are deepening this division. While the decision in the Dobbs case is a great victory for life, it also pushes us closer toward another civil war.
• We have seen much escalation with the war in Ukraine, making WW III look almost inevitable. A five-star general and two-term president warned us about the people behind this escalation. I am not talking about Biden; he does not make policy decisions. They started killing our leaders in the sixties. Now they are trying to kill us by pushing us into WW III. (Many other crimes could be mentioned but we will move on.)

Let’s look at the historic court decision mentioned in the second bullet point above. With all the bad news these days, the court’s ruling is a ray of hope, a reminder that with God all things are possible. In his majority opinion, Justice Alito stressed that the SCOTUS did not have the authority to issue the Roe decision in the first place. According to the Constitution, the authority to create law lies with the legislative branch. In his concurring opinion, Justice Thomas remarked that this return to the authority of the Constitution could have implications for other Supreme Court decisions besides Roe. If this trend continues, I believe it could affect the mechanics of government itself. To be specific, if the states had exercised their constitutional power in 1973 as defined in the Tenth Amendment and resisted the unconstitutional overreach of the SCOTUS, we could have avoided the deaths of 63 million souls. This is called nullification, ie refusing to acknowledge or enforce unjust laws. See, the Constitution with its Bill of Rights is not self-executing. Our form of government here in the US incorporates checks and balances to guard against a centralized authority that gets out of control. These checks and balances are not limited to the three branches of the federal government. They extend to the states, counties, municipalities, and ultimately WE THE PEOPLE. This is known as the doctrine of lesser magistrates. See here and here.

Even though the states neglected to do their duty, we have nevertheless seen the doctrine of lesser magistrates working to counter Roe for the last forty-nine years. When the court issued their decision in 1973, WE THE PEOPLE who recognized that miscarriage of justice for what it was went to work. Although the Dobbs decision is a great victory, there is still much work to do. At the heart of the matter is the issue of personhood. What exactly is a person? This same issue was at the heart of the slavery debate in America. Someday, people are going to marvel that ‘they used to think a baby was not really a person until she was completely outside of her mother’. That was the court’s decision on slaves in 1857 — slaves were not people protected under the Constitution, but merely property. The court did not tackle the issue of personhood in the Dobbs case, but this issue must be settled. It must be settled in the court of public opinion, regardless of what the SCOTUS or any other courts says. I think Gianna Jessen can explain this issue a lot better than I can. I once had the privilege of meeting sister Gianna at a fund raiser. She is even prettier in real life:

The depravity of our fallen nature stands in sharp contrast to the virtuous character of our Saviour seen in the text below. Although Jesus knows He is about to be nailed to the cross, He is patiently and selflessly attending to the disciples, preparing them for what is about to happen.

Give us understanding, Father, as we read thy word, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

John 16:1-14
1 These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.
2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.

According to Eusebius and other sources, each of the apostles except John was killed for his faith, thus fulfilling Jesus’ prophecy above. According to Tertullian, John was boiled in oil in Rome but he miraculously escaped unharmed. John is the only apostle to die of natural causes. It was also Tertullian who said “The blood of the martyrs is the seed of the church.”

3 And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.

Saul the Pharisee was a religious zealot who persecuted Christians unto the death. (Acts 22:4) Like countless others throughout history, Saul thought he was doing God service. Of course, he repented when he came to know Christ and took the name Paul. Paul therefore called himself the ‘chief’ of sinners, demonstrating that nobody is beyond redemption: Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. (1 Tim 1:16)

4 But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.
5 But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?
6 But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.
7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

Jesus said that his leaving them was a good thing, not a bad thing. The disciples surely had a hard time understanding how this could be, but before Jesus went to the cross their access to Him was limited by his location. After Pentecost, each of the disciples had Jesus living in their hearts. The same is true of you and me. Through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit we take Jesus with us wherever we go. (Gal 4:6; Eph 3:17) In Chapter 15, Jesus said without me ye can do nothing. Contrariwise, when we are filled with the Spirit we can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth [us]. When you read the Acts of the Apostles, you can see how the ubiquitous presence of Jesus in the lives of believers everywhere began to transform the world. The Book may be more accurately called the Acts of the Holy Spirit.

8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

The sin of unbelief in verse 9 is what I consider the ultimate sin. All else can be forgiven but first one must believe. When Paul stood before Felix, he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come. At first Felix trembled, but he put off receiving Christ as his Saviour. The kernel of belief in Felix’s heart eventually withered and died. First the kernel of belief died, then Felix died.

13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

The Bible says the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. We cannot possibly cover all the different ways they are attacking us with their Great Reset agenda in these notes, but suffice it to say they are making great progress. HG Wells wrote a dystopian novel predicting these things called The Shape of Things to Come, but the future is not bleak for believers, it is glorious. If you are walking closely with Jesus, the Spirit will show you personal things to come in your own life as well. He has done it for me and He will for you too.

14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
John 16:1-14

We will develop verses 13 and 14 more in our next post. For now, consider that during the time period in which the New Testament was written, the Roman Empire controlled large swaths of the known world. Worship of the reigning Caesar was required under penalty of law. Infanticide was legal and common. Slavery was legal and common. Crucifixion was legal and common. When our Saviour appeared on the scene to right these wrongs, what looked like the worst defeat in the history of the world turned out to be humanity’s greatest triumph. Although things looked worse than ever when they nailed Him to the cross, although it looked like all was lost, Jesus was doing something nobody understood at the time. He was making all things new. So it is now. Despite how ugly mankind can be, the beauty of our Saviour stands in sharp relief, showing what we will look like once his work of redemption is complete.

Although I believe Jesus is coming soon, I also believe it is possible that the judgments we are seeing worldwide may be part of an overarching plan that God is executing to further the gospel, preparing the world for one last great revival. Our God has a way of turning curses into blessings, of working all things together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose. Whether Jesus tarries or whether He is just around the corner, it is up to us to be salt and light until He comes.

In closing, the Declaration of Independence says the reason we instituted our government was to secure our unalienable rights: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Furthermore, our government derives its just powers from the consent of the governed. Consider these words of wisdom from our forefathers. Consider the doctrine of lesser magistrates. (See links above.) Consider what constitutes a person in God’s eyes. I do not believe these issues can be resolved without a God-sent revival. That is what we must pray for. The church cannot reform the world, but we can change one heart at a time through faith in Christ.

Father, come what may, we love You and we trust You. We know and believe that You are still in control. We know that we have sinned against You. In much the same way that You had to correct your chosen people when they strayed from You, we know that You must not let our sins go unanswered. We know and believe that the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. We know that You are making all things new. We know You will send your Son back soon. May we persevere undeterred as we patiently wait on You. May we rightly represent you to this lost and fallen world. Please give us one last great revival. We ask this in Jesus’ name, Father. Amen.

John 15:15-27 — Abide In My Love: The Upper Room Discourse Part 8

Dear Friends,

In late 2020 I drew a parallel between the new world order and Nazi Germany. At that time I said it is 1938 and we are all Jews. A little more than a year after I made this observation, this same parallel was made by Dr Robert Malone during his New Year’s interview with Joe Rogan; ie we are falling prey to the same ‘mass formation psychosis’ that engulfed Nazi Germany. Yet the problem is not simply psychological. Now as then, there are spiritual issues at play.

Like America, Germany was a world leader in science and technology, a country that enjoyed many blessings from heaven. Like America, these blessings came out of a respect for the word of God. Germany was where the Gutenberg Bible was printed, followed by Luther’s Bible. This led to a strong Protestant Reformation. However, in the 1800s, the Germans embraced the critical philosophy of Immanuel Kant. They began to critically analyze the Bible as a work of literature. This method, known as higher criticism, seeks to correct the Bible, rather than letting the Bible correct the reader. This led to the unraveling of morality in Germany, making the country ripe for the rise of the Third Reich. The same perversions that the Weimar Republic was infamous for are rearing their ugly head now in America, only worse.

Here in America, higher criticism has been taught in our seminaries for the last hundred years. It is for this very reason that the church in America is in such a sorry state. The church in these last days is marked by scandal and corruption. One popular preacher, Andy Stanley, has even said we no longer need the Old Testament. This same move was made by ‘Christians’ in Nazi Germany. The church is weak, to be euphemistic. (Rev 3:17) I was amazed at how, with few exceptions, the churches of America cowered in fear behind closed doors in March of 2020, not having the slightest idea what was being done to them. I went to church as usual only to be met by a church worker who spoke to me through a glass door — afraid to even open it, much less let me in. After a time, some churches began to understand they had fallen into a trap and fought back. When the mandates were rolled out, Christians who had a relationship with God seemed to instinctively know not to take the shots, even if they were not well versed in the latest medical news. That is the key. We need to concentrate more on developing our relationship with Jesus and less on the current trends in Christianity.

So how do we correct these errors? Before we look at our text, let us take a reasoned look at the culture. The truth is there are a lot more Christians than typically perceived by the general public. Likewise, there are a lot fewer LGBT people than typically perceived by the general public. The reason for this misperception is that the LGBT people are loud and proud while the church stays quiet. We let them shame us into silence. That is not love. Love is the major theme of Jesus’ instructions in John 15. The way we love the world is by telling them the truth. Love and truth are closely linked to one another. To see this truth illustrated, read John’s first general epistle and underline the words ‘love’, ‘true’, and ‘truth’ wherever they appear. You will soon see an abundance of these words protruding from the pages of your Bible. We are to share the truth in love. Trying to appease the world never works. The people of Sodom did not have any inclination of ‘tolerating’ Lot’s beliefs like he ‘tolerated’ theirs. Likewise, the world has made its mind up about the church and they have no intention of tolerating us. In fact, they hate us, as Jesus points out in the text below. When Christians go to protest their pedophile celebrations, it is the Christians who are arrested, not the pedophiles. Nevertheless, we still have to love them, by telling the truth. (Click here to see the testimony of someone who found out the truth about ‘transitioning’ too late, after he had already been deceived by the lie. He uses strong language because he is angry about what they did to him, but I think his story is something people need to hear.) Appeasement is not part of our armor, but the truth is. I do not think the church is going to reform the world. The locomotive of the new world order is moving forward at full speed and nothing is going to stop it, but we must always tell the truth: Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. … I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

If one had found himself in Germany in 1938, the wisest thing to do would have been to escape while there was still time, not to try to reform the Third Reich. God is preparing a way for us to escape the new world order. It behooves us to prepare. We prepare by studying and obeying the word. (John 15:3) Jesus called this abiding in Him. (John 15:4-7)

Give us understanding Father, as we read thy word, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

John 15:15-27
15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

This is a key verse that we need to spend some time unpacking.

There has been a question over the translation of the Greek word dulos as ‘servant’. Some feel that the word should be translated as ‘slave’. Slave is what the word literally means, but we have to consider the spiritual context as well, for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. I trust God knew what He was doing when He translated the word as ‘servant’. Someone may protest and say that it was not God who translated the word, but men. Well, consider that God promised to preserve his word:

…..The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
…..Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
Psalm 12:6, 7

God used men to translate the Bible just as He used men to write it, but the Holy Spirit was overseeing the process and preserving God’s word for us. (Matt 24:35; 2 Tim 3:16; 2 Pet 1:21) In fact, the original autographs were a translation. Jesus and the apostles spoke Aramaic, not Greek.

If you are offended by this line of reasoning it just goes to show how much the system of higher criticism that I referred to above has affected the thinking of Christians in these last days. It is Satan that wants you to question and critique the validity of God’s word (Gen 3:1), rather than simply accepting God’s promises to give us a pure Bible. If we trust that we have God’s word as He promised, and therefore obey it, Jesus calls us friends just as He called Abraham his friend when he believed and obeyed. (Gen 15:6; Gen 22:18; Isa 41:8)

…..And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
James 2:23

Not only did Abraham believe and obey God in his trial with Isaac in Genesis 22; Abraham believed God when He told him what He was going to do in the future. (Gen 15) Jesus is not asking any great thing of us like He did Abraham, simply that we love one another. That is the commandment that is repeated over and over in this section. (John 13:34; 15:12, 17) He is also asking us to believe in the glorious future that He is preparing for us. If we do these things, Jesus calls us his friends. (John 15:14)

16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.
18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.
22 If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.
23 He that hateth me hateth my Father also.
24 If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.
25 But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.
26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.
John 15:15-27

So to sum up, we find ourselves at a unique point in time as the rise of new world order is quickly transitioning from the ankles at the bottom of the legs of iron in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, into the feet of iron mixed with clay. In order to successfully navigate these waters, we must:

1. Abide in Christ, aka the Word. (John 15:5ff)
2. This means believing and obeying his word. (John 15:12ff)
3. This means letting the Spirit lead, and telling people about Jesus. (John 15:26f)
4. We are not going to reform the world. (2 Cor 6:17f)
5. We need to get ready for the new world. (Rev 21)

We live these points by abiding in Jesus’ love. In this chapter Jesus tells us As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. He tells us If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love. He tells us This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. He tells us again, These things I command you, that ye love one another. What exactly does that look like? Read Colossians 3. I highly recommend you open your Bible and meditate on Colossians 3 and John 15 in their entirety. The principles in these chapters are key to surviving and thriving as we await our Lord’s return. That may sound impossible in this economy, but I am not talking about earthly riches. I’m talking about thriving spiritually, which is entirely possible. Father, thank You for your Son. Thank You for all the precious promises we have in thy word. Increase our faith in your word and in your Son, Father, that we may abide in his love, that we may be ready when You send Him to fetch us home. We pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

A Distant Thunder (A Thief in the Night Part 2)

Prophecy Update: If you are a regular reader of these notes, you have probably noticed I have been emphasizing the rapture even more than usual. While several things point to the soon return of Christ, there are other reasons to believe it might be a while. I recently ran across some data from The Center for the Study of Global Christianity, at Gordon-Cornwell Theological Seminary. Their 2022 report, The Global Status of Christianity, shows that the church is growing worldwide. While the church in the West is in decline, the church in Asia and the global South is growing. Evangelicals have increased 48% since 2000, while Pentecostals/Charismatics have increased 50%. While the church is declining in ‘Christian’ countries, the church is growing in non-Christian countries. In 1900, 95% of all Christians lived in a country where Christians were the majority. Now that number is just above 50%. This leads to persecution in these countries but many are also being converted. 2.56 billion people now identify as Christian. That number is split between Protestants and Catholics about 50/50. Furthermore, this increase in the number of Christians has led to a decline in the number of martyrs. In 2000, the status report showed 1.6 million Christians killed for their faith over the previous ten years. In 2022, their estimate was down to 900,000. Also, with more Christians comes more Bibles. According to the report, 90 million Bibles will be printed this year. That is up from 54 million in 2000. With these kinds of numbers, it is easy to see why our Father may not be in a hurry to send Jesus back. These numbers also tell us there is a great harvest waiting for laborers to go and work the fields. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

John 15:5-14 — Coronavirus Part 14: The Psychic Wars – The Upper Room Discourse Part 7

Dear Friends,

As I write this post, world ‘leaders’ are gathered in Geneva discussing how to impose a WHO pandemic preparedness treaty on the US and the rest of the world. If they are successful, it will be a major step forward in the march toward the so-called Great Reset.

Father, give us understanding as we read thy word and consider these things, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

John 15:5-14
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
John 15:5-14

In the 20th Century, MK Ultra research revealed the human mind to be programmable. The MK Ultra program was discovered in 1975 by a congressional committee headed by Senator Frank Church. I wrote about it in Dragon Slayer Jesus Christ. If we are obedient to Jesus’ instructions above to abide in Him, which means abiding in his word, our minds will be properly programed by the manufacturer and therefore immunized against the viruses of the new world order media. In other words, we will be in control of our own minds — Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; If we are not abiding in the word, our minds can be hacked and taken over by those who want to control our behavior. Much planning and effort has taken place over several decades to prepare the public for the so-called Great Reset. This has been a longterm, multi-faceted program. Consider this recent recruiting advertisement from the US Army:

This is the same Army that has mandated the toxic mRNA shots and purged soldiers who refuse, mind you. The advertisement clearly shows that our government engages in psychological warfare. It would have to in order to convince the public to accept the dictates of the WHO. The WHO blatantly lied to the world for the last two years to give cover to Red China. From the very beginning of the so-called pandemic, it was clear that the director-general of the WHO, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, was a puppet controlled by China. He repeatedly claimed there was no evidence of human-to-human transmission and praised China’s response to the virus — the same China that welded the doors shut on peoples’ apartments.

The warfare we are talking about is not merely psychological, but spiritual in nature. Hence, my description as psychic. Most of the spiritual warfare that the Bible speaks of takes place in the human mind. It is now clear that the so-called pandemic was, among other things, a psychic attack on the human spirit; a salvo to begin the process of the Great Reset. As discussed in previous posts, the so-called pandemic was planned in advance and carried out with military precision. In many ways, it was also a physical attack, but that is a topic for another time.

Although most of the world is enjoying the easing of restrictions, this is merely the calm before the storm. We are seeing a degree of normalcy again, but we are also seeing the effects of the lockdowns and mandates. People continue to die from the shots. Shortages and inflation are setting in. Things look dark, but nothing is as it seems. The weapon of the enemy is fear. The weapon of the Christian is the truth. If we follow the instructions of our Lord and abide in his word, we will be immune to the fear the enemy wants use to entrap us. It is a matter of trusting the Lord above all others. The enemy wants you to be scared of the next wave of crises but Jesus is asking you to trust Him and fear not. Jesus forewarned us of all these things and they indicate our redemption draws near.

The people of planet earth are being psychologically prepared to receive the one-world leader and take his mark in the right hand or forehead. The use of masks is a psychological submission technique. In the 1800s, African slaves were forced to wear masks. Even today, women in Islamic countries (who are considered chattel) are forced to cover their faces. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

The unilateral control of the media has allowed the new world order to use ‘flooding’, the technique of simultaneously sending their messaging into all sectors of society, thereby controlling the narrative. This technique was used to counter anyone who offered common sense solutions to their all-out assault on our freedom and health. For example, when the cheap, safe (safer than aspirin), and effective ‘wonder drug’ that won a Nobel Prize in 2015, Ivermectin, was offered as a therapeutic for COVID, the message that flooded the public was that it was a ‘horse paste’ and that a study ‘showed it to be ineffective’. (If you live in the US, you can get a prescription for Ivermectin at Although these were blatant lies, those who receive their information from the controlled mainstream and social media were none the wiser.

How did they pull all this off? The answer to that is far too complex to cover in this post, but let’s take a look at some of the early psychological research that laid the groundwork for this ongoing worldwide psychological operation (psyop).

The three experiments we will look at are:

1. The Solomon Ash Conformity Experiment
2. The Milgram Torture Experiment
3. The Stanford Prison Experiment

1. The Solomon Asch Conformity Experiment:

In the 1950s, Solomon Asch conducted experiments where people were asked a series of simple questions. Participants were instructed to give blatantly wrong answers. The test subject, however, was not given these instructions. In one experiment, for example, the group was shown pictures containing a series of lines and asked to identify the longest line. At first, the test subject would identify the proper line. But after a few rounds of questions, he would go along with the group and say one of the shorter lines was the longest one, even though he knew it was not. These experiments have been reproduced several times with the same results, showing how easily people can be manipulated to comply through simple peer pressure.

2. The Milgram Torture Experiment:

In the 1960s, Stanly Milgram proved in a laboratory setting that people will blindly obey authority. Like the Solomon Asch Experiment, the Milgram experiment used an actor who was given information the test subject was not given. The test subject was seated at a console which controlled electrodes that were connected to a person for the purpose of shocking him. The test subject was told by the professor, a person in a position of authority who wore a white lab coat, to shock the person whenever he gave an incorrect answer. There was not really any shock administered, but the actor was instructed to feign pain and agony, as if he was, in fact, being tortured by the test subject. The experiment proved that people will willingly torture others if instructed to do so by an authority figure.

3. The Stanford Prison Experiment:

In the 1970s, Philip Zimbardo used volunteers to simulate a prison setting. The volunteers were divided into two groups, guards and prisoners. Almost immediately, the test subjects accepted their roles, with some of the guards becoming sadistic and inflicting psychological torture onto the prisoners. Many of the prisoners passively accepted their punishment, and would even harass other prisoners who tried to stop the psychological abuse. The abuse included things like forcing the prisoners to strip naked, being given only a bucket to use as a toilet which was not allowed to be emptied, being forced to sleep on the concrete without a blanket, and solitary confinement in a dark closet, while the guards pounded on the door and shouted at the prisoner. Some of the prisoners ‘went crazy’ and were released from the experiment early. Zimbardo saw no ethical problems with the experiment and did everything he could to keep it going until an outside observer witnessed what was taking place. This brought the experiment, which lasted six days, to an end.

It should be plain to see how these experiments were played out in real life right before our very eyes over the last two years. We saw the creation of a worldwide prison complex with willing participants who readily subjected themselves to abuse. These experiments took place around fifty years or more ago. Although they were not part of the MK Ultra program, they indicate how pliable people can be. The new world order has continued their research and even has access to ultra-sophisticated artificial intelligence to aid them in their pursuit of mind control over the public. If you read my last post, you may have wondered why I included the REM video at the end. If you study the lyrics and the images used in that video, they reveal the long game played by the new world order. Thy lyrics were written in 1987 and the images were compiled in 2006, but if you are familiar with the MK Ultra program, you can see their plans for the Great Reset embedded in that video. On the other hand, we Christians have something far more powerful and more sophisticated than they do: GOD. The Lord has told us what to do:

…..Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
…..And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 8:31, 32

…..I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
…..And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Romans 12:1, 2

…..Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Philippians 1:6

…..Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Philippians 4:6

…..Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
…..And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
Revelation 19:7, 8

If we keep our focus on Jesus we will not give into fear, as they prepare us for the next big scare: monkeypox. According to Dr Peter McCullough, monkeypox is not an airborne virus like the SARS viruses are. It does not affect the respiratory system like the SARS viruses and it is easily treated with therapeutics. Once again, this mysterious outbreak was the subject of a tabletop exercise in 2021. And right on cue, the prescient US government is ready with monkeypox vaccines for a whole new round of fear. In Europe, the quarantines have already begun.

When faced with WWII, Franklin D Roosevelt famously said, “We have nothing to fear but fear itself.” It is true that hard times are ahead, but fear is not the answer. We need to face each challenge as it comes. At the beginning of the so-called pandemic, Mike Adamsaka the Health Ranger, was spreading hysteria that would have made Anthony Fauci blush, saying we were all going to die of COVID and we all needed to mask up. At the time, I said the alternative media were falling into the trap of the new world order and we had nothing to fear from COVID. Now Mike Adams is talking about a possible land invasion by China in the US, based on a leaked Chinese document. In previous posts, I entertained the idea that a prophetic dream posted on YouTube by Pastor Dana Coverstone about an invasion from China may be credible. We are not to despise prophecies; we are to judge them. (1 Thess 5:20; 1 Cor 14:29) My judgment is that we should remain cautious but not be afraid. Mike Adams has a strike against him because of the way he hysterically bought into the fear at the beginning of the so-called pandemic, but it would be illogical to think just because he was wrong about that, he must be wrong about everything. The leaked document Adams referenced speaks of a pending attack on Taiwan. I don’t know about a simultaneous attack on the US but I have had my eye on the threat from China for over a decade. If it turns out to be true (and that is a big IF), if there is a Red Dawn event where China invades the US, there is still no reason to be afraid. War is part of human history. If it comes, we need to face it with courage. To be forewarned is to be forearmed, but if you allow yourself to fall prey to fear, you are giving Satan the home-court advantage. If you keep your mind on Jesus and on his word, you will have both courage and the home-court advantage. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. If you follow the mainstream media you are getting bad intel. If you look to your Bible and reliable Christian voices, you will acquire the wisdom to make good decisions. David Knight, for example, is a Christian commentator who discusses the news from a Christian perspective. Another possible scenario that I believe is more likely is a cyber attack. They have been telegraphing one with the Cyber Polygon drills and I believe it is prudent to take steps to prepare. The Boy Scout motto is a good one: Be Prepared.

In closing, it is painfully obvious that the church in America has lost its way. Major, high-profile ministries that Christians have looked to for leadership for decades have imposed mandates for shots on their staff. High profile pastors have pushed the shots. I do not believe that these people are willing partners with the new world order. I think they have been deceived. They are casualties of the psychic wars. Either way, the end result is the same. Anyone who is pushing the shots cannot be trusted. It is my prayer that these people will realize that they are no longer walking with Jesus and repent. Joseph and Mary went a day’s journey without Jesus before they noticed He was no longer with them. (Luke 2)

“An error does not become a mistake until you refuse to correct it.”
— John F. Kennedy

CONCLUSION: We are in a psychic war. (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Our weapons are prayer and the word of God. We fight our enemies by loving them. Avoid mainstream and social media. Kill your TV. As much as possible, look to Christian sources for news and entertainment. Stay in the word each day. Tell others about Jesus and prepare for his soon return. Father, help us to trust You. Please direct our paths. Help us to prepare to meet You, that we may ready, clothed in the righteousness of your Son when You send Him to fetch us home. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

John 15:1-7 — The True Vine: The Upper Room Discourse Part 6

Dear Friends,

As Jesus continues with the Upper Room Discourse, God’s judgment is drawing near for Israel. It was only some 38 years before Jesus’ prophecy in Matthew 24:2 was fulfilled. Jerusalem was razed and their magnificent temple was destroyed. All because they rejected God’s Son. In our day, judgment is coming soon for the rest of the world as well; also for rejecting God’s Son. (1) You may be asking yourself, where can I go to hide from what is coming? The answer to that question is that safety is not found in a place, it is found in a Person. The psalmist wrote Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word. (Ps 119:114) This is how Jesus was able to face the cross with courage. He knew He was safe because He was trusting in the promises in the word. He knew the cross could not defeat Him.

At the end of Chapter 14, Jesus said Arise, let us go hence. It appears Jesus continues his teaching in Chapter 15 as they are en route to Gethsemane. If so, they would have passed by the temple on their way. Being Passover, the full moon would have illuminated the temple for them to see atop the temple mount. Above the temple gate were golden vines with grape clusters as big as men (Josephus, Ant., xv, 11 § 3; BJ, v, 5 § 4). Jesus and the disciples may have even passed by a vineyard as they made their way through the Kidron Valley to Gethsemane at the base of the Mount of Olives. The point is that the disciples were very familiar with the symbol of the vine and what it represented. For a Jew, the vine represented Israel (Ps 80:8-14; Jer 2:21; Hos 10:1) Jesus knows that soon his disciples will be personae non gratae in the temple; in effect, cut off from the vine of Israel, outcasts who nobody will buy from, sell to, employ, or associate with. For a Jew, this was a terrible fate. Jesus, therefore, prepares them for what is coming.

Give us understanding, Father, as we read your precious word, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

John 15:1-7
1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

This is the seventh of Jesus’ I am statements in John:

I am the bread of life
I am the light of the world
I am the door
I am the good shepherd
I am the resurrection and the life
I am the way, the truth, and the life
I am the vine
(the true vine)

2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

I believe that when Jesus said He would take away every branch that did not bear fruit, He was talking about the Jews who rejected Him. (2) They claimed to believe in Messiah but there was no fruit on that vine (Matt 21:19; cf Luke 13:6). It can also mean a professing Christian who has no fruit in his life. There is a sin unto death … (1 John 5:16) When Jesus said He would purge every branch that bore fruit, I believe he meant He would purge the disciples out of the corrupt vine that rejected Him, the true vine. It also means purging other things that do not profit out of a believer’s life. The word for purgeth could also be translated as ‘cleanses’. The Reina Valera version translates it this way (ie limpiará, lit cleanses). We can see this meaning in verse 3. Jesus cleanses us with the word that we may bring forth more fruit. But what is fruit?

Fruit is:

Souls won with the gospel — John 4:35-38; 1 Corinthians 15:20-23
Holiness — Romans 6:22
Giving financially — Philippians 4:17
Helping others — Colossians 1:10
Righteousness — Hebrews 12:11
Praise to God — Hebrews 13:15
And finally Galatians 5:22, 23 — But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

If you chop a branch off from the vine it will die. It will no longer bear fruit. Incidentally, fruit bearing not only requires abiding in Christ; it requires humility. The branch that bears the most fruit hangs the lowest.

5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

If there is no fruit in the life of a Christian it is probably because he is not in the word. Trying to produce fruit apart from the vine is an exercise in futility, for without me ye can do nothing. If you are abiding in Christ on the other hand, the fruit grows naturally like grapes on a vine. The vine does not need to struggle and strain to produce grapes; they just grow naturally.

6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
John 15:1-7

The word for abide is translated continue in John 8:31. The way to abide in Christ is to continue in his word. By continuing in God’s word and thus abiding in Christ, we can then begin to see the fruit that Jesus desires of us. In verse 2, there is no fruit (branch taken away), then a branch with fruit, which Jesus separates and cleanses so it can bring forth more fruit. In verse 5, we have the branch that abides in Christ and brings for much fruit. To this kind of branch, the kind that continues in God’s word and abides in Christ, Jesus says If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. This sort of branch will be asking for things that are in accordance with God’s will and God’s nature. (Jam 4:2) When this sort of branch receives a ‘no’ as an answer to prayer, she trusts God and knows that God knows best. (Rom 8:28) This is the sort of branch I want to be. We are coming to the place in our day where we may suffer the same sort of persecution that the disciples were faced with after Jesus’ death and resurrection. That is okay though because if we abide in Christ we are abiding in the true vine, and He will never leave us or forsake us. Father, thank You for all the precious promises we have in your Son and in your word. Thank You for the hope we have of everlasting life with You in heaven. Please use us to bear much fruit for you and your Son and your Spirit, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

(1) As a nation and as a planet, we are under the ancient Chinese curse: May you live in interesting times. Thankfully, we serve a God who turns curses into blessings. (Deut 23:5; Neh 13:2) Before we talk about how God can turn the curses into blessings, let’s look at the curses.

In my post on April 17, I said we have seen an end of free and fair elections here in the US. The release of D’nesh Dzousa’s 2000 Mules has confirmed this once again. A curious side note in 2000 Mules was the observation that not only did prosecutors use geospatial location data to arrest the January 6 political prisoners, but they were being tracked via their cell phones before January 6. Another side note mentioned in 2000 Mules was how the voter-fraud investigators used their geospatial location data to catch a murderer. You do not necessarily need the gift of prophecy to see where this is leading. (Rev 13:16-18)

In my last post, I implied that our federal government here in the US is a lost cause. There has been a lot of recent news that confirms this. The real reason (one of many) we are deeply involved in the war in Ukraine is because the new world order has fifteen bio labs there (not to mention the corruption connection of the Bidens in Ukraine). The new world order bio labs were called out by the Russians and they appear to be telling the truth. Undersecretary of State, Victoria Nuland, admitted that these labs exist to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on March 8. I could be accused of being a Russian agent for pointing this out, but then again I’m not the one who received $3.5 million from the wife of the ex-mayor of Moscow (full Senate report here). Inconvenient truths like this are the reason we are getting a new Orwellian Ministry of Truth headed up by Miss Information Nina Jankowicz, who incidentally worked for the infamously corrupt Ukrainian government as a ‘strategic communications expert’. (There is that Ukraine connection again.) We have completely lost our moral high ground. At least in Russia, it is illegal to attempt to groom or otherwise influence anyone under 18 concerning matters of sexuality. Here in the US, even the ‘good guys’ allow it after the third grade. Advocates claim it is a virtuous thing to sexually confuse and groom children when it is, in fact, an old Marxist practice used to break down the foundations of society and divide families. (It also works well for the depopulation agenda.) It was recently confirmed by a whistleblower that yes, parents who object at local school board meetings are indeed tagged as potential terrorists by the FBI.

Meanwhile, the pharmaceutical companies are still pushing forward with plans to give the jabs to infants only six months old. This, as world ‘leaders’ will discuss handing over American sovereignty to the WHO for ‘pandemic preparedness’ when they meet in Geneva later this month. In Leviticus 26:17, God said if Israel despised God’s statutes, those who hated them would rule over them. It happened to them and it is happening to us. Their target to have the treaty fully implemented is 2024. This treaty has no legal basis: see here and here. If we surrender our sovereignty, what is to stop them from fencing Americans into their neighborhoods like residents in Shanghai were fenced in to their neighborhoods? Those who brought us to this place need to be prosecuted for crimes against humanity, as some are attempting to do.

Allowing adults to engage in or be afflicted by these abominations is bad enough, but to allow these abuses against children is nothing short of satanic. One may wonder how the world could come to the point where they are worshiping the dragon in Revelation 13, but we are, in fact, seeing the foundation being laid before our very eyes. The only thing left standing in their way is the body of Christ. While people protest the possibility that Roe v Wade may be undone, Satanists have argued in a court filing that abortion is their right as a ‘satanic ritual’, which brings me to my last point. The fight over the Roe v Wade case, in addition to all the other points above, drives the point home that we are at a crossroads. This truly is a historical moment in time. The sixties transformed American culture and one of the results of this transformation was the Roe v Wade decision a few years later in 1973. Aside from the millions of innocent lives at stake, the leaked decision in the Dobbs case, if it stands, could have other far-reaching implications for the power of the Supreme Court. An in-depth discussion on the Roe decision and its implications can be found here. If the decision does not stand, it could very well be the last straw. God is merciful but He will not suffer our rebellion indefinitely. Inflation and shortages may be just the beginning.

If this ‘state of the nation’ synopsis is all there is, we can suppose that we are, indeed, cursed. But you have to consider how God fits in. As I said before, does not God turn curses into blessings? If you read these things, take them seriously, and sigh or cry over them (Ez 9:4), if you have received Christ as your personal Saviour, then I have good news for you. God is preparing a mighty deliverance for those who are truly grieved over the abominations taking place on planet earth. The rewards for those who love Jesus and are willing not only to die for Him, but to live for Him, are inconceivable, indescribable, what Paul called unspeakable. If you decide to turn a blind eye, or ‘go along to get along’, just remember that God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for sexually deviant behavior, making an example out of them. (Jude 7) The vine of this earth is ripe for judgment (John 15:6; Rev 14:14-20) If you are ready, however, you will be spared. (Ez 9:5f)

(2) Nevertheless, the Bible prophesies a great revival in Israel yet future with much fruit. (Rom 11:26)

John 14:7-31 — Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled Part 3: The Upper Room Discourse Part 5

Dear Friends,

In the comic strip, Peanuts, Charles Schulz had the theologian Linus tell his friend Lucy that God gave us the rainbow as a promise He would never again destroy the earth with a flood. Lucy said that was very comforting, to which Linus replied, “Good theology is like that.” Chapter 14 began with Jesus’ directive to not let our hearts be troubled. In this post, Jesus supports his directive with doctrine; sound doctrine that will instill in our hearts an assured and steady sense of shalom.

Father, give us understanding as we unpack the precious words that your Son has for us in this section. Increase our understanding of You, your Son, and your Spirit. Give us wisdom. Give us the peace that passes understanding, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

John 14:7-31
7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

Although the Godhead consists of three distinct Persons, the three are one. All thee are always in perfect agreement with one another at all times, yet each plays his specific role: Jesus points people to his Father; the Father draws people to his Son. The Holy Spirit points people to Jesus and lives in our hearts by faith. The three are so alike that Jesus says we can know what the Father is like by looking at Him. Like Jesus, his Father is a God who loves us, especially the ones in the background who no one else cares about. He is a merciful God who loves sinners and is a Friend to them. He is a God who goes to great lengths for the good of his people. Jesus never put Himself first. He showed no regard for his own comfort but lived to serve us. That is what God the Father is like. He loves us just as Jesus does.

We accept the doctrine of the Trinity by faith, but we can spend a lifetime contemplating it. It has been said that the Trinity is like Neapolitan ice cream, inasmuch as Neapolitan ice cream is three, yet one. The three members of the Godhead are so alike that it appears Jesus may have referred to the Spirit as the Father in verse 10. Likewise, although Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father in heaven, He dwells in our hearts through the Holy Spirit. (Eph 3:17) A solid belief in the Trinity is essential for the peace that passes understanding. Doubting the Trinity opens the door to confusion and anxiety. Jesus emphasizes the importance of the Trinity by beseeching us to believe Him:

11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

We only see a few dedicated followers of Jesus in the Gospels, but when Peter preached on the day of Pentecost, 3000 people got saved. That is a greater work. When a soul turns to Christ, that is a greater work than giving sight to the blind or even bringing a young maid back to life.

13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
15 ¶ If ye love me, keep my commandments.

In his first general epistle, John wrote And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. (1 John 5:14f) In other words, when you see your prayers getting answered, you know you are praying according to his will. Before I left Los Angeles a couple of years ago, I was keeping track of my prayer group’s petitions with a yellow legal pad. When a prayer was answered, I would highlight it. I had almost an entire legal pad filled with prayer requests that were about 99% highlighted. The thing about that prayer list is there was not a single prayer for anything fleshly or superfluous. Verses 13 and 14 have caused some people to become angry and doubt God’s word because they had a prayer that was not answered. If that has happened to you, you may want to ask yourself if you follow what Jesus said in the next verse: Do you love Him, and are you keeping his commandments. If not, you are trying to cash someone else’s check. That is what the late Dr Harry Ironside said about Jesus’ promise in verses 13 and 14.

16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

The third Person in the Godhead is a primary source of the comfort that Jesus wants us to have, hence his name, the Comforter. He is also called the Spirit of truth. This is where things get tricky. I have had people tell me that the Book of Revelation is too scary to read. I have had people tell me that the name of this website — End of Days — is too scary. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable — ie before you have peace, you need purity. You need truth. Truth can be daunting, but the righteous are bold as a lion. Truth can be unpopular, but Christianity is not a popularity contest. It was Luther who said, “One with God is a majority.” Let’s gird up our loins (Eph 6:14) and explore the truth a little further.

19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will  keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.

The word ‘keep’ appears in some form four times in the verses above. Jesus said if we love Him, we will keep his words. If we do not love Him, we will not keep his words. This is what Strong says about téreó, the Greek word for keep:

5083 tēréō (from tēros, “a guard”) – properly, maintain (preserve);
(figuratively) spiritually guard (watch), keep intact.
téreó: to watch over, to guard
Original Word: τηρέω
Part of Speech: Verb
Transliteration: téreó
Phonetic Spelling: (tay-reh’-o)
Definition: to watch over, to guard
Usage: I keep, guard, observe, watch over.

You can see above that one of the definitions of téreó is observe, but it also means to ‘guard’, to ‘keep intact’, and to ‘preserve’. This is the same word that Luke used in the Book of Acts when guards were charged to keep prisoners from getting away (eg Acts 16:23). In other words, we are not only responsible for obeying Christ’s words, but preserving them as well. (Deut 4:2; Jer 26:3; Rev 22:18f) Jesus is issuing a warning here, much like his final warning at the end of the Revelation: Do not subtract from or add to my word (Rev 22:18f). Not long after Jesus made the proclamation above, many of his words were edited out of the New Testament by fake Christians known as Gnostics. They did this in an attempt to make the New Testament more closely fit their pagan beliefs. Gnosticism was a first-Century pseudo-Christian cult based in Alexandria, Egypt. In editing the New Testament, they removed several words, including entire verses and even entire passages. In a few of their manuscripts, Mark’s entire account of the resurrection is omitted. This is why some new versions of the Bible place the passage in brackets or footnote it, calling its authenticity into question. More here.

The manuscripts that were edited by the Gnostics in Alexandria were rejected by the church until they were used to compose the Greek New Testament of B F Westcott and F J A Hort, which was used for the Revised Version of 1881. Out of all the ancient manuscripts still extant today, the vast majority agree with one another. They are therefore called the Majority Text. These Majority Text manuscripts were used to translate the KJV, Luther’s German Bible, the French Olivétan Bible, and virtually all of the other translations that appeared across Europe as a result of the Reformation. Fallacious diagrams in study Bibles that imply the KJV was not translated from the original Greek are simply wrong. The Minority Text, which came from the Gnostics in Alexandria (most notably, manuscripts Aleph and B), was heavily relied on to translate the Revised Version of 1881 and virtually every other new version since. These minority texts contain all sorts of omissions and errors but most notably, they consistently demote the deity of Jesus Christ, as do the new versions that rely on them. For example:

1 Timothy 3:16 MAJORITY TEXT: God was manifest in the flesh
1 Timothy 3:16 MINORITY TEXT: He appeared in the flesh

Some omissions are more subtle:

Ephesians 4:6 MAJORITY TEXT: One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
Ephesians 4:6 MINORITY TEXT: one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. (Universalism)

Jesus said if we love Him, we will keep his words. Doing so will give us better discernment to guard against the nets and snares the enemy tries to trap us with. Today, Neo-Gnostics are appearing in all sorts of places. They range from the radical Heaven’s Gate cult that committed mass suicide in California in 1997, to the QAnon cult, to other assorted personalities that are popular in the freedom movement. We need to stay informed, but we must also be aware of the booby traps. The gold that Jesus spoke of (Rev 3:18) is not found in ‘secret spiritual knowledge’ or gnosis — it is found in the Bible. (Rom 11:33) John gave detailed warnings against Gnosticism, especially in his first two general epistles. If we heed Jesus’ warnings and John’s warnings (ie the Holy Spirit’s warnings) to keep Jesus’ words, if we treasure his words above all else, we will know the truth and the truth will make us free. (John 8:31f) Part of this means keeping our focus in the right place. My focus is on the Bible and the more sure word of prophecy contained therein. All the signs Jesus gave us to look for are going off like air-raid sirens, sounding the alarm to prepare for Jesus’ soon appearing. Even if Jesus does not come back soon, you definitely want to have your doctrine straight and your armor on considering what we are facing. If your focus is on trying to put our Humpty Dumpty republic back together again, you are wasting your time on wood, hay, and stubble. If you feel called to be involved in politics I would recommend you work locally, where you can still have an effect.

25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

There is that commandment again to not let our hearts be troubled. Read verse 27 three more times.

28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

There are certain ways that a father is ‘greater’ than his son (stronger, smarter, etc), but that does not make a father more valuable than his son. Jesus humbled Himself and took on human flesh for us. He submitted to the will of his Father. That does not make the Trinity any less of a reality. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it [his death and resurrection] is come to pass, ye might believe.
30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.
John 14:7-31

In conclusion, the main themes in this section are the importance of believing in the Trinity, the importance of preserving God’s word and obeying what it says, and the importance of letting the Spirit lead — all things which the Gnostics attacked. Also, not to worry. (v 27) The new world order is doing everything in their power to put our brains in a blender but if you will trust in these three things, the Trinity, God’s pure word, and the leading of the Holy Spirit, you will find your confidence increasing and your anxiety abating more than you ever thought possible. Many books by top-notch language scholars have been written on the subject of new bible versions and the manuscripts underlying them. For further reading, I recommend Which Bible? by Dr David Ottis Fuller (Grand Rapids International Publications, 1970). For any further questions, I recommend Jeremiah 33:3: Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. For more on the freedom movement from a Christian perspective, I recommend Dragon Slayer Jesus Christ by yours truly (the paperback version; the ebook is only 99¢ but you get what you pay for). Finally, Let not your heart be troubled: Jesus went to prepare a place for us and He is almost done. He created the world in six days, but He has been working on our new place for almost 2000 years. It is going to be a sight to see. Meanwhile, they are doing everything they can to deceive people about the rapture, like preparing people to think maybe it was someone like Thanos from the Marvel series who did it. Or to think that maybe we caught a comet, like the Heaven’s Gate people said they did. We know different. We know Jesus is coming back soon. Let’s be sure we have plenty of oil in our lamps (ie be sure we are filled with the Spirit) as we prepare to meet Him. I know that many who read these notes are suffering. Do not give up. Jesus is with us to help us overcome whatever this world throws at us. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

…..Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
Isaiah 26:3

Father, increase our faith. Help us to be wise, to fear You, to walk in your ways, and to be ready when You send your Son back for us. Please account us worthy through faith in your Son to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before Him. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Soon and Very Soon

John 14:6 — Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled Part 2: The Upper Room Discourse Part 4

Dear Friends,

In this post, we will look at Jesus’ statement concerning the exclusive nature of everlasting life. When Jesus told us not to let our hearts be troubled, He qualified this order by giving us something to look forward to: the place He is preparing for us in his Father’s house. Jesus then told us how to successfully obtain this promise. Give us understanding, Father, as we read thy word, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

…..Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 14:6

In other words, our inner peace is contingent on Jesus’ promise that He will come back again and take us with Him to his Father’s house. In essence, Jesus is telling us to put our helmets on (Eph 6:17) and prepare for the rapture of the church, which is pre-trib, and saves us from the day of his wrath. To make our calling and election sure, we must therefore trust in Christ alone. If we are looking to any other thing, our good works, for example, or anyone other than Jesus, we are making our calling and election less sure. The exclusivity of Christianity (faith alone in Christ alone) is tied to the doctrine of grace — the offer of everlasting life free of charge because my debt has been paid in full on the cross at Calvary. Under the new covenant of grace, not only are our good works incapable of getting us into heaven, our bad works are incapable of keeping us out of heaven. (1 John 1:9 et al) When Jesus died for us and rose again, He paid for all of our sins (our bad works). We all fail, but Jesus never fails. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life: It is the Shepherd’s job to get his sheep back home and I trust Jesus to get me there, just as He said He would. (John 14:3; Phil 1:6; et al) John 14:6 is Jesus’ sixth I am statement in the Book of John:

I am the bread of life

I am the light of the world

I am the door

I am the good shepherd

I am the resurrection and the life
I am the way, the truth, and the life

I am the vine

These Bible basics are more important than ever in the age of COVID. In previous posts, we have looked at many different proofs showing how we are for all practical purposes at war. From the very beginning, it was clear that this was a religious war, as they started releasing inmates and jailing pastors. Many Christians who knew very little about vaccines or the new world order knew not to take the shots. Why? Because when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. Religious wars that target born-again believers are nothing new, but this is the first time we have seen anything quite like this. The reason we see this worldwide deception is because we are transitioning from the legs of iron in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream (Dan 2) to the feet of iron mixed with clay. The legs have tapered down to the ankles as Rome faded into the background, yet Rome still wields an enormous amount of power behind the scenes. After the rapture of the church, Rome will again take center stage as her false prophet points people to the Antichrist.

In the days of the cult of the deified emperor, Roman citizens were compelled to offer a pinch of incense to Caesar and call him ‘Lord’. The Christians refused, since paying homage to any deity other than Christ violated their conscience. For their civil disobedience, they were thrown to the lions as entertainment for good Romans citizens. We are not quite there yet, but as we see virtually all common sense thrown to the wind, it is clear that we are being conditioned for what is coming, the dictate to bow down to the image of the beast and take his mark in the right hand or forehead. For the time being, one of the most important ways we must fight this war is by standing together. Our Lord is a Lion (Rev 5:5). As his followers, we must act like lions as well. Lions will stand together when facing a wild pack of laughing hyenas. There is strength in numbers and there are more of us than there are of them:

One of the ways we can do this is to stand with people who are persecuted for resisting — people like Canada’s Pastor Artur Pawlowski, who was sent to prison for standing with the Canadian truckers who resisted the government’s ‘vaccine’ mandates. I highly recommend this update on Pastor Pawlowski. He is a lion:

You can help Pastor Pawlowski with his legal fees by going to

Another way we can fight is by forming our own systems that are uncoupled from the establishment pharmakeia system. That is what the people in Arizona at Freedom Healthcare are doing. If you do not have a private healthcare association that honors the Hippocratic Oath in your country, maybe you could start your own. Freedom Healthcare was started by an ordinary sister with no background in the medical field.

In closing, there has been a lot of chatter about the viral documentary video featuring Dr Ardis on the Stew Peters Show. Dr Ardis made some very sensational claims about snake venom and its role in the pandemic. I do not doubt the sincerity of Stew Peters or Dr Ardis, at all. In many ways, however, I am skeptical of some of the claims made in the interview. On the other hand, Dr Ardis spent months researching the subject and I believe we should at least consider what he said. I agree with the perspective of Dr Lee Merritt but before we look at what she has to say, let us consider one of the symbols talked about in the documentary, the symbol of the medical system. Why does the medical community use Hermes’ caduceus (wand) as their symbol? The Greek god Hermes (Roman counterpart, Mercury), was the messenger of the gods. (As in messenger-RNA?) He was also the god of merchants (commerce), which makes his symbol a fitting symbol for the medical community.

The caduceus closely resembles the DNA double helix. We have discussed predictive programing in previous studies and incidentally, the plot of reptiles manipulating human DNA has been woven into several films (like the TV series V – The Visitors, for example). Any connection of these plots to the shots is anecdotal and unprovable, but it is something to think about. After all, we know that it is Satan, that old serpent the devil, who is behind all this. As far as the idea that we have to ‘watch the water’ goes, that is nothing new. I have filtered my water for years and you should too, even if you don’t live in Flint, MI.

Finally, because we are at war, we have to consider these things but we must not let them consume us or dominate our thinking. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. We must take every thought captive and stay focused on Christ — on his promises to us, contained in his word for us. We serve the Prince of Peace, not the god of fear. The enemy uses the power of fear to control people, which is why Jesus commands us, Let not your heart be troubled: Father, thank You for the peace that passes understanding. Help each of us to be as bold as lions, that we may stand in the power of the Holy Spirit, having done all to stand. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

…..But his [the blessed man] delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
Psalm 1:2

…..He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them [the NWO] in derision.
Psalm 2:4

…..I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.
Psalm 3:6

…..I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.

John 14:1-6 – Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled: The Upper Room Discourse Part 3

Dear Friends,

In the preceding chapter, Jesus told the disciples He was going away and they could not come with Him. He told them one of them would betray Him. He told Peter he would deny Him. Upon hearing this, they immediately stopped their bickering over who was going to be the greatest. Instead, they started to solemnly question which one of them would betray Him. Jesus’ words hit them like a bucket of ice-cold water, waking them up to the reality of the situation.

Now, having brought the disciples back down to earth, Jesus strengthens them by putting things in their proper perspective. Give us understanding, Father, as we read thy word, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

John 14:1-6
1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 14:1-6

This was before Twitter, the Internet, or even the printing press. Although the disciples were not bombarded with distressing data concerning the current geopolitical situation, the Roman soldiers patrolling the streets of Jerusalem told them exactly what the current geopolitical situation was. Jesus’ triumphal entry, only a few days prior, had them walking on air, expecting to be kings shortly. They were finally going to be free from the yoke of the Roman Empire. Or so they thought. Jesus gave them the bad news first: No, you are not about to be freed from the yoke of Rome. I’m going to be smitten and you are going to be scattered. (Matt 26:31) Then, Jesus gave them the good news: I’m going to rise again. (Matt 26:32) Furthermore, I’m going to prepare a place for you, a place in my Father’s house. I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

Jesus’ exhortation in verse 1 is in the imperative mood. A free translation might be, Don’t worry, just believe in Me.

Are you worried? Much like the disciples, if we could only believe and take seriously the truth of the blessed hope, we would not be the least bit worried. On the other hand, you would have to either be an ostrich or a nun in a cloistered monastery to not be at least a little concerned, but that is no way for a Christian to live. Burying one’s head in the sand will not stop a predator. It will only make one more vulnerable. (Even an ostrich knows this. The thing about him putting his head the head in the sand is a myth.) As for monasteries, although we are not of the world (John 17:16), Jesus does, indeed, send us into the world. (John 17:18; Mk 16:15) So, following the pattern that Jesus modeled for us, let us first look at the bad news:

• We are just beginning to see the effects of a worldwide holocaust, a government-sponsored VAIDS pandemic (Vaccine Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome). The so-called novel coronavirus merely baited the trap. The so-called vaccines are the real bioweapon (not to mention the only permissible therapeutic, remdesivir). A detailed analysis of the VAERS database has revealed that the lethal batches of the Pfizer shots were sent to red states. Just as we have a two-tiered justice system, we also have a two-tiered medical-malpractice system, where conservatives are much more likely to receive a lethal injection under the guise of a vaccine.

• The laughing hyenas who have taken over society are coming after the children. Not just by way of American schools and corporations, but worldwide. They now even have a pedophile gatekeeper on the SCOTUS.

• While we were distracted with the war in Ukraine, Shanghai, one of the most populous cities in the world and a major center of finance, business, and manufacturing, went on lockdown 2.0. (Not because of a single death, mind you, but ‘cases’.) This will, of course, further exacerbate the supply chain crisis. Eerie video of Shanghai residents screaming for help is yet another reminder that there is no going back to normal. Regarding the war in Ukraine, Russia is arguably the world’s biggest exporter of energy in the form of natural gas, at 576 million tonnes of oil equivalent per year. Without Russian energy and fertilizer, both of which are being choked because of sanctions, they are effectively choking the world’s food supply — a move similar to Stalin’s Holodomor that killed far more than Hitler’s Holocaust. To help move this process along, the US is culling millions of chickens and turkeys. For cover, they are claiming there is a bird flu outbreak which they say they are thwarting by use of the same PCR test hoax they use for COVID. I believe this is all being done by design and will ultimately lead to the famines predicted by Revelation 6:6; 18:8.

• We have seen the end of free and fair elections at the federal level in America.

• Hyperinflation of the US dollar is underway, again a result of policy decisions. Cutting Russia off from the SWIFT system has led Moscow to start trading energy in roubles and other currencies. China is following a similar course. It appears this has effectively ended the petrodollar, the agreement that OPEC would only trade in US dollars. The Petrodollar Agreement, sometimes called Bretton Woods II, was created by Henry Kissinger and implemented by President Nixon in 1973. The rest of the world followed suit. Therefore, the US dollar kept its status as the world reserve currency, by loose extension of the Bretton Woods Agreement. The collapse of this system is leading to the creation of a “new world settlement currency … based on blockchain.” This quote is from Sergei Glazyev, a higher-up at the EAEU and a former adviser to Putin. His prediction about a new world currency based on blockchain was echoed by Pippa Malmgren at the recent World Government Summit in Dubai:

This, of course, will lead to the mark of the beast which John wrote about in Revelation 13. Unlike Bitcoin, this new digital currency will be centralized. It will also be programmable, tailored to each user in terms of what they are allowed to purchase. (Or, they may not be allowed to purchase at all, depending on their social credit score.) See, all the unbelievable propaganda we are witnessing — you will eat bugs, you will own nothing and be happy — is pushing us to accept this. Once they have destroyed things to the point where people have lost faith in all of their institutions and leaders, they will be ready for one world government. (This was predicted in the Christian film Early Warning over 40 years ago — forward to 3:30 min.) Following the Hegelian Dialectic (thesis—antithesis—synthesis), they are creating a scenario so horribly unacceptable, that when a world savior bursts on the scene, everyone will welcome his solution of a mark in the right hand or forehead with open arms.

These bullet points are the ice cubes in the cold water meant to wake us out of our slumber — the bad news. Here is the good news:

Jesus has conquered the grave. He said Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Jesus’ promise to come again is closer than ever. Although no man knows the day or the hour, the second bullet point in the bad news section above indicates how close we are (not to mention what they are doing to children with masks, shots, and therapeutics). Just as Lot and his family were ‘snatched away’ by angels before the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, I expect those of us who are ready will soon be snatched away as well. Each of the markers Jesus gave us to indicate his soon return are flashing red. I began writing about these trends over twenty years ago and since then they have only continued to accelerate in one direction — toward the creation of the new world order and the imminent return of Christ. Satan wants you to focus on the bad news, but if you see these headlines for what they are — indicators of Christ’s imminent return — they are then eclipsed by the good news of the gospel:

• Jesus died for your sins. (Rom 5:6)

• All you have to do to be forgiven is repent and receive the free gift of everlasting life by faith alone in Christ alone. (Rom 6:23; Eph 2:8, 9)

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17

• Jesus is coming back again. (John 14:3)

I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 14:6

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
John 14:1

• The invitation to receive Christ is open to everyone. (John 3:16) Simply pray this: Father, I am a sinner. I receive your Son as my personal Saviour. I repent of my sin and turn toward You and your Son. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart. Thank You for the precious blood you shed for me on Calvary. Please take control of my life. Please fill me with your Holy Spirit. Please direct my path. I pray this in your holy and precious name. The name above all names. Amen.

In closing, it was Benny Prasad — a living example of the resurrection power of Christ — who said, “Safety does not come from the absence of danger, it comes from the presence of God.” As long as we let God’s love reign in our hearts, we have nothing to fear. The devils of fear, hatred, and bitterness are what we must guard against. Perfect love casts out fear. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. Not only did Jesus conquer the grave, but He is coming soon to take us home. In the New Jerusalem all things will be set right. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Jesus knows what He is talking about: Let not your heart be troubled

John 13:20-38 – Love One Another: The Upper Room Discourse Part 2

Dear Friends,

In our last post, Jesus began his Upper Room Discourse after his Last Supper. Although John does not record the events of the Last Supper, in Chapter 7 he recorded the words of Jesus that explain the meaning of Holy Communion: See here and here. After the supper was ended, Jesus washed the feet of the disciples. He then quoted Psalm 41:9, as He prepared to make a startling announcement: One of them is going to betray Him.

Father, give us understanding as we continue in your precious word, which is more than our necessary food, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

John 13:20-38
20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

Speaking through the prophet Jeremiah, God said I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied (Jer 23:21). John said that if you receive a false prophet or even wish him God speed it makes you a partaker of his evil deeds. (2 John 11) This places a tremendous amount of responsibility on us to discern who was sent by God and who was not, but Jesus assures us that we who are his will know his voice. (John 10)

21 When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.
22 Then the disciples looked one on another, doubting of whom he spake.
23 Now there was leaning on Jesus’ bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved. [John refers to himself this way five times in his Gospel.]
24 Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, that he should ask who it should be of whom he spake.
25 He then lying on Jesus’ breast saith unto him, Lord, who is it?
26 Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.
27 And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.

There is an entry in Martin Luther’s journal that says he woke up startled one night, to find Satan looming next to his bed. Luther said, ‘Oh, it’s only you’ (loose paraphrase) and went back to sleep. Luther understood that Satan is only a created being who could not harm him without obtaining permission from God. (Job 1; 2; Ez 28:13, 15; 1 John 4:4)

Although Judas had already made the deal with the Pharisees and although Satan had possessed Judas, Jesus was still in control. Jesus allowed Judas to make his own free-will decision, but now He tells Judas it’s time. Time to go and do what he decided to do.

28 Now no man at the table knew for what intent he spake this unto him.
29 For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.
30 He then having received the sop went immediately out: and it was night.

Curious that none of the other disciples suspected Judas, is it not? Are we any different though? There is an abundance of harlot churches preaching new world order doctrine, and no lack of parishioners in these pews. Oftentimes, even born-again Christians do not recognize that the occupants of these pulpits are wolves in sheep’s clothing. We should pray for discernment. (Rev 3:18) Jesus said Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

31 ¶ Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him.
32 If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall straightway glorify him.
33 Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you.
34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
36 ¶ Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards.

Peter is often faulted for following afar off after Jesus was arrested, but here Jesus tells him not to follow at all. Jesus knew what would happen when He was arrested (Zec 13:7; Matt 26:31); He therefore said that where He was going, Peter could not follow. However, knowing that Peter would try to follow Him anyway, Jesus tells Peter that he is going to deny Him. (He then told him not to let his heart be troubled. More on this in our next post.)

37 Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake.
38 Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice.
John 13:20-38

Jesus began by saying if we receive those who He sends, we receive both Him and his Father. In verses 34 and 35, Jesus tells us how to discern whether someone has indeed been sent by Him. You can tell by their love. Love is the first fruit of the Spirit listed in Galatians 5. It could be argued that all the other fruits flow from the fruit of love. Jesus also said Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Love is something that can be feigned, however. Judas had everyone fooled, right up until he betrayed Jesus with a kiss. In order to have discernment and make wise decisions concerning love, we need to be fruit inspectors. I believe we should always err on the side of grace with the common people, but when it comes to church leaders we need to be more rigid. This was the pattern that Jesus followed. Pastors need to be held to a higher standard. (Jam 3:1) As for the rest of us, this is our new commandment. 34 and 35 are the key verses in this section. The old covenant said love thy neighbor as thyself (Lev 19:18), but Jesus said that we are to love one another as I have loved you. It is not a suggestion. It’s a commandment. John 13:34, 35 need to be memorized, often repeated, then implemented. (Matt 19:26; Phil 4:13)

Prophecy Update: In verse 19, Jesus emphasized the importance of prophecy. Jesus said He told them that one of them would betray Him to increase their faith when it came to pass. A good understanding of prophecy is of paramount importance, not only to understand what is happening in our world in these last days, but to increase our faith. Ukraine, which has been front and center in the news for the last month, is going to be the first country in the world to have a universal ID app linked to a vaccine passport and social credit scores. This is the Great Reset being implemented. This new form of ID will spread around the globe and eventually lead to what Bible prophecy calls the mark of the beast. Meanwhile, school districts are requiring EKGs as part of the physical for high school sports, since the shots are causing heart attacks in high school athletes. Yet despite this elephant in the room, nobody wants to state the obvious: That the shots are killing people and those who forced them on us should be prosecuted for crimes against humanity. Instead, they just pretend that everything is normal. They make up new reasons why people are dying and create new names for health conditions that did not exist before the shots, like Post-COVID Stress Syndrome, Excessive Grief Disorder (over the loss of loved ones), and even ‘Winter Vagina’. If a pastor tries to justify the shots that is not love (v 35). At best, it shows he has no discernment. It may even be an indication that he is a Judas. These things may sound troubling, but they do not have to be if you have them in their proper perspective. Father, we know and believe that You are in control. We know and believe that You are going to send your Son soon to take us home. We know and believe He is making all things new. Help us to love one another and get ready. Come quickly Lord Jesus, in your holy and precious name. Amen.
